A lightweight, sturdy folding walker built for maximum ease of use. The dual push-button release mechanism can be operated by fingers, palms, or the side of the hand — ideal for users with limited grip strength. Each side folds independently for easy navigation through narrow doorways and greater stability while standing. Comes fully assembled out of the box. Sold as a case of 4.
What makes the 2-button release easier to use than a standard walker?
A standard folding walker typically requires the user to squeeze a small button or lever with their fingers while simultaneously pulling up on the frame — a motion that can be difficult for users with arthritis, weakness, or reduced dexterity. The Blue Jay 2-button design uses larger push buttons that can be activated with the fingers, palm, or side of the hand, requiring less precision and grip strength to fold and unfold the walker safely.
Why does each side fold independently?
Independent side folding allows the walker to be partially folded on one side while remaining open on the other, which improves stability when the user is standing and leaning on the walker. It also makes it easier to navigate through narrow doorways by folding just one side slightly inward. When fully folded, the walker becomes compact for storage or transport.
What surfaces do the 5" wheels and rear glide caps work on?
The 5" front wheels roll smoothly on most indoor surfaces including hardwood, tile, laminate, and low-pile carpet. The rear glide caps slide easily on smooth surfaces and provide resistance on carpet to prevent the walker from sliding too freely. For outdoor use on uneven terrain or grass, a rollator with larger wheels may be more appropriate.
Is this listing for a single walker or a case of 4?
This listing is for a case of 4 walkers. It is intended for healthcare facilities, home health agencies, and resellers purchasing in bulk. If you need a single walker, please check our store for individual unit listings of the Blue Jay 2-button walker.
